Me and Barbara have celebrated new year in Venice, Italy. After partying in my hometown all those years, I felt it was time for a change and we haven’t regret this decision for one second during the entire stay. We arrived on the 31st and stayed for a few days afterwards. This allowed me to shoot pictures of abandoned streets (as we all know: all is quiet on new year’s day), and this is something you don’t get to see often when you travel to Venice. :)

Credits: half of the pictures are shot by Barbara, the other half by me. She also helped with the editing and it was her idea to use Radiohead’s “Reckoner”.

This video is made of 1.486 photos that I shot with my DSLR, spread over two nights. Editing was done on my 17″ Macbook Pro with iMovie 09.
