It took me some time to get everything into balance. I think I spend about 6 hours of experimenting and editing, spread over two evenings, which is a lot of time, compared to most photos I process. One of the reasons is that I couldn't decide which direction to choose at first. But I'm satisfied with the result now.
It's a beautiful shot and well balanced. Your time was well spent. I spent 2 hours on a shot I was working on last night and thought that was a lot of time. :p

this is a good shot, the woods are strong enough on their own. Placement of the figure is great and so is the lighting on her, this image would be perfect if only your dress showed more signs of gravity to make it look more believable.
