Luna, looking at the lens with the sincerity and truthfulness that only a child can portray. No faking, no hiding. This picture is practically unprocessed, besides a little bit of classic curve enhancement. Although the photo doesn't attract attention by means of special or sensational processing or effects, I think it's one of my best portraits so far. Hope you like it too. Thanks for visiting.

Kristof, after being frustrated not able to produce consistent light, I switched from Nikon CLS to manual mode using simple radio triggers. This means no high-sync flash, but I believe new Pocket Wizards are coming which do make it possible to high-sync with the speedlights?

Sometimes it is faster to shoot CLS ( in my case ETTL), I tend to ride the flashcompensation till I am satisfied. The new PW's are able to override the sync speed of your camera. I think I will buy at least one set for those sunny days where I still wanna shoot with low DOF.

It's an honest portrait, bare bones so to speak. I love that it's virtually untouched because what we are seeing here is 100% Luna.

Your portraits and people shots are always so good, there is always an edge to them to make you look further into the frame.

It's indeed a straight forward portrait, but very well done and nicely balanced in color and focus. For me, this picture proves that you're managing to pull the max out of your material, which is offcourse only the finest...
