Almost no post-processing was involved here, I just made the overall color and tone a little colder and a bit brighter. I had shot this exact same photo a week before without a tripod and the ISO set to 800, which resulted in a sharp picture but with lots of noise and this image screams for a very clean noise-less look. Removing the noise in post-processing wasn't possible, probably due to the difficult gradients caused by the light and colors, so I shot it again yesterday using my trusty old tripod.What do you think of "recreation room 63B"?

noise is a problem at ISO 800 on the d300 ? always thought this camera could be used up to ISO 1600

Hi, how did you set the white-balance? Auto, grey card, or just in post-production ? Because the WB looks perfect which is not easy for such king of indoor picture !

This is completely and totally awesome. It's how stuff looked when I was only a wee boy. Dungeon? I would love to live in that room. Love the photo. I can't see much noise in the jpeg, just some weird artifacting around the light on the orange wall. Probably just compression.
Again, this shot rules.
