During our trip through Sicily, we visted the old little town of Cefalu. The slang of Cefalu’s fishermen helped us to understand the etymology of the word “Cif-alo”, meaning the start or the beginning. Could it be possible that the mysterious energy sphere has got something to do with the start of life as we know it?.. Stunning image...the sphere, it reminds me of the giant ball (sphere?) in the old 1960-something series called The Prisoner. Brilliant composition and treatment! -- Seen next to a fellow photo of lovely and amazing vintage inspired. (?)

You have captured a scene from the famous old tv series (in the 70's) called: The Prisoner...with the great british actor Patrick McGoohan...hehe...well that came in my mind when seeing this picture...the ball coming from the sea preventing people from escaping their town on the island...well..anyway...a great picture !

Awesome picture! The houses and stuff just look so idyllic and rustic. As for the energy sphere, I reckon it looks a bit like a beachball :)

It does remind me of "heroes". Don't know why but hey ....

I like the color tone of the ball but still it jumps a bit out of the picture

The reflection of the world around it is very nice
