A couple of years ago we travelled through India. I shot this picture after i just bought a train ticket which would get us, out of New Delhi, to Jaipur. I had returned to Delhi from the North of the country (Ladakh) and the monsoon had already started in in this region of India, so we were leaving -again- and this time for the hot, dry and peaceful desert of Rajasthan.
What do you think of "the times of India"?

very fine picture! maybe B/W would work even better, but the composition is just great

@ orvalrochefort: thanks for commenting! I'm not sure, but i don't think B&W would work as good... you would loose the yellow color of the rickshaws and loose the contrast with the white car in the front...

I love your work. Especially the processing. Very nice photo stream. And very eclectic work, I like your ability to switch from one subject to the other while preserving your style.

i like this shot...i can know it's in Delhi from the yellow-green autorickshaws. i've spent my college days in Delhi and these are the best modes of travelling in Delhi beside those crowded public buses. thanks for taking me back to those days.

Yes nice photos, this white car is Hindustan Motors' Ambassador. Ambassador - the first car to be manufactured in India, has been ruling the Indian roads ever since its inception in 1948. Originally based on Morris Oxford (United Kingdom, 1948). The yellow rickshaws are Bajaj Three wheelers. www.hmambassador.com/history.asp

Sergio (above) is right you know, but the coolest part is that you kept this image for so long. But what everyone seem to miss is the strongness of the shot itself > 'the times of India' on the red wall. Your eyes registered at the right time alright ;-)
