In the North of India while travelling through the Sangla Valley, we came across a little town called Chitkul. The town is located at an altitude of 3.436 Mtrs and we weren't adapted yet. Needless to say that running and playing with the local children was a little more difficult than we imagined. :-)

Yes, I guess the fact that these girls were eager to play didn't help the situation. :) Children are the same all over the world.

I always found it interesting that children in so called 'developing nations' always looked more happy than kids from affluent ones.
The earthy colours of their sweaters goes with their complexion, and those facial expressions say it all.

These girls have more piercings than Britney Spears! On a side note, i'm starting to think i could spot a Kris from a mile away -- the very out of focus background, the high contrast, high colour saturation, the edge burning...

I visited this shot a couple of times now, and it becomes, in my opinion, more and more natural, spontane, glad, interactive, between these thre girls. the middle girl is so shy, the left girl wants to be certain she really in the capture (the most funny one) and the right girl, laughing with her left friend. The DOF boy on the steps is perfect in this composition. I really love these shots, and I know you're really good at them too. ne zie (< das vlaams), i've said it! ;-)

Magnifique cet instant de joie. Ce que j'aime chez toi c'est que tu déclenche toujours au bon moment. J'espère en voir d'autres comme celle ci.
