What do you think of "the Potala Palace"?

Standing there in Tibet and looking over the rooftop of the Jokhang temple in the direction of the majestic Potala Palace felt like a dream. The palace itself is about 120 meters high and has more than a thousand rooms! If you've ever got the chance to see Lhasa do not hesitate. Normally i keep searching for new destinations when travelling but of all the places i've been, this is the only place in the world i would consider to visit again.

Looks like a place to visit before dying. The second photo should have been the only in your post, it is awesome with the temple/city in the background.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!

@ PlasticTV: Sorry about the confusion :-). Let me explain: "Last train to NY" was my last picture before i went on holiday but it was just a title of a picture shot in Belgium (and there's no real train going to NY from Belgium or any other European country). I actually went one week to Norway and then two weeks to Spain. And this picture is from the archive and was shot a few years ago when I was travelling in Tibet. Maybe I should be more clear about it in my comments? :-)

Too many places, too little time...

Very nice, the one in the bottom. I hope you had a nice time as well. Did you visit Tibet this summer or is this one from your archives?

De onderste is 'wow', de bovenste is nog meer 'wow'.

Somehow the lamb (?) looks modern-artish.

I really enjoy the botom one. Fantasic light and bukeh on that temple in the background. I would sure like to see a shot of just that. Very nice.
